The participation to the forum is only possible if you are part of the delegation of your country. If you want to participate to the forum please contact the contact person of your country.

The Nyeleni Europe Forum takes place from August 16th-21st 2011 in the Österreichhallen and surrounding buildings in Krems on the Danube.

The other places (schools, gyms, camping-site) are within a 10 – 15 minutes walking distance of the Österreichhallen.

Excursions for delegates

On the 19th of august excursions to different initiatives and project in and around Krems will be offered for the participants of the forum. Here you find the different excursion destinations.

Goals and Objectives

The key goals of the forum:

Strengthening, broadening and building a movement for Food sovereignty in Europe by;

Reinforcing our common understanding of what Food Sovereignty means in Europe
Identifying common challenges and obstacles to Food Sovereignty in Europe
Constructing common strategies to make Food Sovereignty a reality in Europe

Objectives:

Strengthen local actors for food sovereignty
Build a sense of common purpose and understanding, as well as a joint agenda for action
Celebrate the struggle for food sovereignty already underway in Europe
Inspire and motivate people and organizations to work together

Based on key values of trust, transparency and participation
